to attend 1 or 2 classes for

assessment before enrolling.

 

Students are taught the same material

as older students, at a slower pace.

They are not required to memorize material.

Specialty Classes
Below are descriptions of Pilsung's Specialty Classes.  These classes are offered to enhance the basic instruction and build upon specific aspects of a student's martial arts training.

 
 
Black Belt Club

This class is designed for students determined to achieve Black Belt rank.
Includes basics required for Black Belt, including Bahng Mahng Ee (Short Stick),
Ssahng Jeol Bahng (Nun-Chucks), weapons defense, advanced self-defense, Kickboxing,
and mixed martial arts training.

 
Sparing and Board-Breaking

This class has been designed to help students develop more advanced board breaking and sparring skills.
Both Sparring and Board Breaking are requirements of upper Color Belt and Black Belt Ranks, this class helps the student develop these skills beyond the basics. THIS IS A FREE CLASS for qualified ranks.
Both skills will not always be offered the same night, each session is tailored to emphasize the skill most in need of development within the current student class. 
 
 
 
 
Black Belt Class

This class is designed specifically for Black Belts. 
In other classes the Black Belt Students are expected to be leaders and role models, in this class they are students only. 
Includes the required material for promotion: techniques, forms, self-defense, & weapons, including Black Belt Club Classes.
Students choose one additional class (of appropriate age) to attend each week to maintain proficiency with lower rank material.
 
 
 
 
Leadership Class

Designed to develop students into leaders, in Martial Arts and in life, this class focuses on leadership skills for use in the school and in the rest of the student's life.
